A Family Named Body

SOMEBODY, ANYBODY, NOBODY, EVERYBODY

One day Somebody thought it would be good if Everybody would work together doing the things that Anybody could do, but Nobody wanted to do it.

Immediately Nobody offered to volunteer, because Somebody thought that Anybody could do what Everybody was capable of doing.  An argument ensued because Somebody was mad at Everybody and Nobody cared what Anybody thought about it.

As time went by Nobody did anything because Everybody thought that Somebody would gladly step up and do what Anybody could do.  Sadly what should have been done by Somebody was done by Nobody because Everybody was sure that Anybody would do it.

The moral of that story is that Everybody should be willing to do what Anybody could do because Nobody will ever do what Somebody should have done.

Ecclesiastes 9:10  “Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might; for there is no work or device or knowledge or wisdom in the grave where you are going.”

James 4:17  “Therefore, to him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin.”

II Corinthians 8:12-14 “For if there is first a willing mind, it is accepted according to what one has, and not according to what he does not have.  For I do not mean that others should be eased and you burdened; but by an equality, that now at this time your abundance may supply their lack, that their abundance may supply your lack—that there may be equality.”
