My Cup has Overflowed

I’ve never made a fortune
An I’ll not make one now-
But it really doesn’t matter
Cause I’m happy anyhow.

I’ll go along my journey
Reaping better than I’ve sowed
I’m drinking from my saucer
Cause the cup has overflowed.

I don’t have many riches
And sometime the goings tough
But while my kids still love me
I think I’m rich enough

I thank God for His blessings
His mercy He bestowed

As I walk the narrow way
And stumble as I go.
With God’s help, so far haven’t fallen
Because I walk real slow.

Christ’s words make me stronger
And support me as I go.

If He’ll give me strength and courage
When the road grows steep and rough,
I’ll not ask for other blessings
I’m really blest enough.
