Ten Thoughts To Start The Day

From:  Psalms 116 and 118

This is the day the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

I will praise Thee; for Thou has heard me, and are become my salvation.

The Lord is my strength and song, what can man do unto me?

I love the Lord, because He hath heard my voice and
my supplication.

Because He has inclined His ear unto me, therefore will I call upon Him as long as I live.

I will walk before the Lord in the land of the living.

I will pay my vows unto the Lord now in the presence of all his people.

Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints.

Thou art my God, and I will praise Thee; Thou art my God, I will  exalt Thee.

An old gentleman was asked what his formula was for a good and happy life.  His response was… “When I arise in the morning I do so with a prayer on my heart… walk to the window to look out… and no matter what is going on I just say, ‘this is just the kind of day I wanted.’”

That old gentleman had the kind of outlook on life that we should all have; not only for early morning when we arise for the day, but all day every day.
